Drew Brees gets a Brazilian: without Bush for 6 weeks

  1. regardless it's a major blow to the Saints offense. I know Drew can get the ball to pretty much anyone, but having Reggie on the field, you have to prepare for him. I hate to say this because i have never been much of a Bush fan, but the guy is a big part of this offense. Saints need another tailback, are there any to trade for or pick up right now?
  2. Mike and Mike said fractured fibula (the smaller bone in the lower leg). Much better news than a knee injury, assuming they're right.
  3. Not to mention his punt return abilities. Guess Courtney Roby is now out PR too.

    Just sux for Reggie. I was hoping this would be his breakout year. He's due $12m next year. Unless he restructures, which I doubt, then I don't think he's a Saint.

    I suspect he will be back just in time to play the Steelers, when we will really need him

    Until then, we will mop up on the next 5 opponents, including the Failclowns (easiest schedule in the NFL the next 5 weeks)
  8. He fractured the fibula. It's a non weight bearing bone. Once it heals he'll be good as new.
  9. This one just uses shaving cream.
