Dove field planted

    Glad for a break in he rain most of today got lots done and got millet planted for the doves. Rain just did hold off long enough was putting tractor up and it started to sprinkle now coming down pretty good.

    Looks like a good beginning for a dirt track to race 4 wheeler ATVs on.

    I'd rather eat the doves. Got 100 acres for the kids to ride 4 wheelers on when they get old enough but they better stay the hell out of the garden and off the dove patch.

    We been getting a lot of rain this summer. If you are getting half as much, there, your brown top should be coming.

    This was 4 or 5 days ago. It's twice as high now. Actually it's in the no bird stage now. They've eaten the seed that was still on top and there's nothing there yet for them to eat. It'll be mid August before it browns off and they start showing up if they are going to.
