Ok, I just checked with Miles and he said to give you a second chance. You can ride in the trunk, but he says if you make any whiney noises the deal is off. Now crawl in and pipe down, dingleberry.
tigertap if i have to explain some of the reasons that Tigerfans have been upset then you wouldnt understand in the first place. He has admitted himself he could have managed the clock better. I support Coach Miles and always have. But it doesnt mean i agree with him on every decision he makes. Some people just cant let go and enjoy the experience. I love to win and i am happy with our record. But i was raised by a football coach and i want our team to play to its potential. And even the most positive of tiger fans will have to admit we havnt put a complete game together yet. But i live in the real world and know that your always going to have some mistakes but if we can limit them the games will not have to come to the end with one play deciding them. The great Vince Lombardi would not be happy with just winning if he thought his team did not play smart but won a game. We have some tough games coming up and i just want to have us play the best we can. Win or lose if i can say that we gave our best then i can live with the outcome.
There are two of us here at work who "drive" the wagon. Two Tiger fans in a sea of Crimson and putting up with the Auburn crowd to boot. One guy is a Georgia fan, haven't heard much from him this year. Another dude likes the Gators, he hasn't had a lot to say lately either. All I heard from one Bama guy this week was how dumb/lucky our coach is and that LSU is "garbage". I'll find out tomorrow how he feels about his team's trip to the trash compactor in South Carolina Saturday. We represent LSU well over here. Hell yes, our coach is lucky. He'll probably never be compared to Einstein either. But hey, this is the team I grew up with and he is part of this team. This wagon is rolling along just fine, thank you. Also, don't ever call my team garbage ever, ever again.
funny I still feel the same... this typing you do seems to have little to no effect on me... AMAZING~! must be some special internet Mo Jo up in this wagon drivers seat! try kryptonite I hear it worked on superman. but check with Miles first I could be wrong on that Get him to google it for you I hear the internet stuff is the Strongest! :rolleye33: << still drivin the wagon lol
You act like they've won them all already. I picked LSU to go 8-4, but you are celebrating as if that is impossible. Out of 6 games, last night was their first game where they looked like a respectable team on both sides of the ball. Forgive us for not seeing the light sooner. Chill out. The sad part is that if by some unfortunate turn of events (God forbid) LSU does go 8-4, this thread will be looked at as another "we didn't blow them out of purpose" thread - a joke. It's one thing to be happy and glad we won, but it's another to act like a douche when there are still 6 games left, 4 of which are "toss up" games. Oh, and I gave up on Miles' coaching abilities, but I will never give up on the team.
This is a great point. We played the most complete game last night that I have seen all year. However there was poor clock management (playing for the field goal and not using your time outs wisely before the half time), questionable coaching calls (the fake field goal, which is great because it worked if it didn't then miles is a dumb a$$), and for some reason miles thinks its a great idea to take out your QB who has driven you down field to win the game and put in our "running QB". We are winning despite our coaching. We are still winning on talent. All of this mind you is fine I love to see that we are 6-0 however I feeling like we are playing with fire just waiting to get burned. Now I might be completely wrong and I hope I am but I just feel we are living on luck right now. That being said they say Its better to be lucky than good.
