Sorry .. I'm not impressed with Bama as you are. Yeah . .they are a great team, but, AR should have beat them, and had it not been for 2 bonehead mistakes on Mallet's part, they would have. Bama didn't do anything to force those mistakes .. it was just bonehead/Mallet crap.

I'm not saying Bama is not a good team. LSU will have to play it's best to beat them .. just as S.C. played their best. But Bama is "Beatable"!! All too often, I hear the MeatHeads in the media and even avid FB fans talking as if Bama are Gods in Football Helmets. Well .. they ain't .. and SC proved it this weekend. .. AR should have three weeks ago.

Gotta remember Fantic .... the Meatheads in the Media were all certain that Florida was going to beat LSU. .. didn't happen. That is why they are called Meatheads ... because there are no brains between their ears, just a desire to "make up" the story.

Unfortunately living 1800 miles away it is sorta difficult, but until I moves away in 1988 I went to every home game for 25 yrs, as well as over 50 away games.

you know what's funny about that play. Derrick Helton said he overthrew the ball, if you watch the play again, Jasper had to take a longer route to the ball because it was overthrown, had it not been overthrown, Jasper likely doesn't make the first down, so without the bounce pass, that play probably gets stuffed about a yard short.

Well, this thread did pretty much what I was hoping it would, and that is to expose a few frauds around here, as they didn't respond, and to provoke a few really good Tiger fans into being defensive, as it was meant to offended them by threatening their fan hood.

You see, I chose my wording very carefully, hoping that most would read my statements for their face value and not what was the between the lines meaning.

    Lets dissect a bit:

Nothing: meaning that you have not posted anything positive, and only focus on the negative, very few do this.

And: meaning that the entire statement is inclusive, as in you have given up on the coach and the team, not given up on one or the other, and your prediction is that this team will only go 7-5/8-4 at best; not that you have been critical of the coaching and you believe that will be our record, but that you are only negative and that is what you believe our record will be (splitting hairs I know, but it is what I was doing to make a point).

This isn't meant for those who have been critical, but supportive; meaning that you have your criticisms, but are still supportive of the team and do acknowledge the positives, which means you have voiced you displeasure with the coaching and the team, you may have believed we would only win 7-8 games, but you have still given your undying support to the Tigers.

If this post offended you, and it stirred up emotion that pissed you off I contend that secretly you are very much a Tiger fan, that you quietly support this coach and his staff, that you only want what is best for the Tigers, and you really do want this coach and this team to be successful. For those of you that felt the need to insult me, I am ok with that, the post did what I wanted, it pissed you off that someone would threaten to take away your ride on the wagon. For the record it can't be done, you are just a very passionate fan that wants the best. Hopefully though this thread will make you realize that, by getting you to defend yourself, and maybe just maybe you will start to focus a little bit more on the positive and not let this season slip away from you by not letting yourself enjoy that we are 6-0.

Perhaps I should have implyed that we are and have been winning with our talent alone. I think if you take the talent away les would not be up there in his winning percentage. You can agree/disagree all you want but I think we are winning despite our coaching. That was evident at its worse at ole piss last year and almost against tenn this year.

When something unexpected and good happens aginst the odds it can be seen two diffrent ways. For those that don't want to believe what they have seen call it stupid luck. For those that refuse to see the significant risk involved see it as genius. What it really was - a ballsy call that involved skill to perform and complete blind faith in yourself and your team around you. The lucky part was to have everyone believing in this team and each other and the genius was to realize that you have the skill to pull it off:miles:

Wow. No credit for anything the man has done. I guess all those plays that they ran were made up in the huddle. I could see it. Lee pointing to the palm of his hand. "Hey man, you run that way and you run that way... Oline, just block for a minute".

Yeah, good call on that one.

The team played hard and played TOGETHER, it was a good win. Les is just as terrible at clock management, matter of fact you have to try to be that bad. Crowton is still the worse OC in the country.

As far as I can tell nothing has really changed except the players really stuck together. Great solid win, the best overall win since 2007. IMHO.

There is no wagon to get back on... the players continue to win in spite of the coaching and terrible clock management.

Poor Mike Pouncey. His brother leaves for the NFL, he can't snap the ball right, and now his nightmares every night are going to have this man in them...
