    Look at your selves

You're like little kids........I don't want the guy to go either but G-damnit, be a man dude. You act like they are pulling football if he leaves. We've never been in a better position to hire a coach if he goes. And don't you realize by now that this guy could give a rats ass less what CRAWFISH says on a board. He wants dough and control.....that's it. For you homos, you knew he was looking every year for a chance to go........somebody told him last year, "Thanks for not going to Chicago." What does he say....."Thank Terri." I mean to him he would have gone last year. And if he wants to go, wish him well, and let him get outta town....just what he's been trying to do for the past 2 years at least.

He doesn't need anymore money, he doesn't need 7-10 days and he doesn't need you women begging him to stay. What he needs is to go down there to Miami and get fired in 4 years and that's where he's headed. I'll wish him well, pull for him no matter where he is but I think he's in for trouble.

Now grow a pair you bunch of Martha's and start thinking bout how he handcuffs the city and program for 2 weeks every December.

    Sour I agree

For the most part that's what I said. I may let my mouth get away from me on the losses thing but that's what I start thinking bout when I get pissed with this annual NFL talk. I mean the guy has interviewed everywhere and he still hasn't found the right situation. What is the right situation then? I wish him well in whatever he does but IMO, the yearly drain on recruiting and the heart of this town is too much. Make a decision and then move on either way......

OK, I'll ask too.......I'd like you to stay Nick. (But hurry up with it cause we gotta hire somebody too ya know?)

    How's that?

Have your morning coffee and just settle down...I could careless what you say. I want him to stay and don't mind letting it be known. Take a chill pill and don't be so hostile!!!! It sounds to me like you would be happy to see him go. That is just STUPID, and for all he has done for LSU and this state I think he deserves our SUPPORT. I will do just that.

    TIGERS ROCK!!!
    STAY COACH!!!

OMG, bro, lay off the personal attacks. I can assure you, I am a man. And I'm an LSU fan, and you're delusional to think that we'll be okey-dokey if he leaves. I don't care if he's been thinking of leaving every year. I'm telling you, I'm begging him to stay!

    NICK, DON'T GO!

And I didn't say to just leave.

I said I'd love the guy to stay but c'mon. Enough is enough with this crap.

    OK, you're a man

I'm kidding with the Martha talk....I don't need your bicep measurements....it's cool.

The guy gets free crap all over town, two Mercedes for free, $2.3 mil on his way to $3 mill..........and we're begging him to stay. It just seems a bit much to me. Would you like to give him more and have the same crap every year? Have him hold us hostage for a month every year? Not give him 7 to 10 days but give him 2 months? If he's gonna go he needs to go now and let everyone involved move on. I don't see how everyone can't agree with that.

I would rather have a Coach that is in demand every year, than another Curly or Dinardo that no one wanted. I don't feel he is holding us hostage, he is just checking things out and he will do what is best for his family. It is NOT about money with this guy, I think he is a man who strives for success and has a huge ego, which I believe comes with this kind of job. But don't mind me, I'm just a woman ("Martha"), who bleeds purple and gold.

    STAY NICK!!!

And by the way, are you feeling a bit of envy concerning the "free" stuff?

You are way off base Craig. Saban is not "shaking down" LSU. He's totally above board about the whole deal and no one has shown where he or his agent have asked LSU to re do the K or match Miami's offer. That's just some peoples' perception, and it's wrong. How can you say it's hurting recruiting? His classes have consistently been top 5 and the NFL rumors pop up every year. Whether he goes or stays, recruiting to this point is unaffected. Certainly, there are some who want to play for Saban that we may not get if he goes, but that is not unique to LSU. Don't you think Utah will lose a few prospects now that Meyer is at Florida? You should not bash those of us who want Saban to stay. He's a proven winner and that's why this is an annual issue? I don't see any NFL GMs knocking down Tubby's door and he's 12-0. You're enttled to you opinion, but restrict it to one post. You are not going to change anybody's mind by telling us what wimps you think we are.

And...you might want to consider coughing up 12 bucks before spewing more of your crap around here.
