Chili powder can get SO much better than what you find at the local grocery, I'd imagine the same for Indian/Thai spices like curry or cumin
Penderys is awesome. I walked through looking at scoville units in the various chili powders, bought some dried and mucho other stuff.
Buddy of mind says no such thing as curry powder in India. Makes all his from scratch. He's in the know.
