I figured he'd leave. Never high Boutte. Like several others better.
Totally unsubstantiated rumour, some internal team violation (late, missed practice?) was going to keep him out of the bowl game. He made the decision to move on.
Another unsubstantiated rumour, Homey (Kelly) don't play that shit and unlike his predecessor, is building a disciplined team
I agree with you 100 percent! It's clear Boutte has talent, but he has zero worth ethic and a horrible attitude. Give me Bech or any other LSU receiver any day over him. If I were an NFL team owner, I wouldn't touch Boutte because he brings nothing good to the team. All the guys up there are talented, but the great ones work on their craft and have a desire to get better.
I think you are drinking too much from the rumor miil fountain. So he was pissed early in the season by the total failure of the passing game. It just shows that he cares. Since that initial incident CBK has praised his work ethic and team leadership.
Just like literally every WR in the game. If you are "the guy" you want the ball and you get pissed when they don't throw it to you. I've seen this lots of times, its called fire!
Fair enough...but, then again, Boutte dropped quite a few balls that hit him in the hands
WRs with "fire," catch those.
Wishing him the best. Fortunately our WR room is loaded with talent and we won't miss him.
I believe the rumor has already been denied by staff. The rumor is quite implausible too. I’m kind of happy Boutte is gone. Interested to see how Aaron Anderson can do in the slot next year.
That isn't the rumor! Much bigger. Boutte was "dismissed" look for more from the staff to be gone as soon as this evening
I haven’t seen it yet, but a notice just popped up about a Nick Dias take on Boutte leaving,
