Re: Status of Auburn linebackers 3 or 4 months ago we had a topic of rivalry's all aubies were very quick to say how LSU could never be a top rival, It is amazing to me how after LSU,s dominating performance all the aubbies want to be nice. I smell fear! Let hope miles hangs 50 on Tubby, We LSU fans know too well if tubby has the chance he would do it to us. I could be wrong but I feel very confident about Sat.
Re: Status of Auburn linebackers Tubby has NO choice. The NCAA instituted some specific guidelines about certain infractions. Any type of drug or alcohol involvement is automatic. Second infractions are considered very serious. If Tubby could play these guys he would! No more of the Zook suspentions where he chose the games that his guys would miss. One game suspension was used during the first game and the second one came after 5 weeks of play.
There you go again! Put the words Tubberville & respect in the same sentence. And with your gay little bathhouse "smoker" pic with this rat holding hands with the rest of his little girls. Give it up! Tubberville is a classless animal, as we all know here at LSU. He'd have smokers "every game he could" and he'd be out there drinking every night drunk with his players and bailing 'em out of jail each Sunday morning IF HE COULD GET AWAY WITH IT. Say Tubberville all you want, DON'T LOOK FOR RESPECT FROM LSU! We're coming to knock that arrogance out of you Saturday.
EDIT: I withdraw my post until further notice on the grounds that there is some apparent bad history b/w zinc and AU. I gotta hear this one, zinc. Yeah, I don't get behind anything this guy says. Except maybe the letters L, S, and U. I like those three letters and nothing else. Bash me back if you want, but that reaction was totally uncalled for. He's in here having a docile conversation about the game and you go and spew some stuff all over him. Whether or not you like it, we have to respect Auburn for several reasons: 1. They're darn good. 2. They're in the same boat we are with the media- screwed in '04, not getting the attention they deserve. (I can't say this enough- just play well and that will fall into place, we shouldn't worry about this.) 3. An AU fan would mention it: the 31-7 win in '02. (Which I would respond to with 31-7 in '03.) Which really amounts to a hill of beans, but hey, let 'em have it. 4. They're darn good. Coincidentally, AU has to respect us for very similar reasons.
ramah and AU have a history, I mean zinc. he burnt down their barn a few years back among other things.
I know anything can happen in football, but if something unforeseen does not happen, the winner of Saturday's game will very likely win the West.
Re: Status of Auburn linebackers Yes he does have a choice. They've already been suspended for two games, and alcohol isn't even on the banned substances list from the NCAA. CTT has chosen to make a point to these guys and this team that he isn't going to put up with that crap by not only suspending them for a couple of overmatched opponents, but our first big game of the season as well.
Re: Status of Auburn linebackers Wanna find us some back-up for these ridiculous statements? If that were the case, why has Juwan Simpson been allowed to play in both Alabama games after pleading gulty to a drug charge over the summer? Why? Because no such rule exists. Shula made a decision to not suspend him for any amount of playing time. Pull something else out of your rear end and post it. It still won't make it true.
Re: Status of Auburn linebackers And we all know how well Alabama has played without suspending Simpson.   Personally I think Shula has less balls than Tubby. He's basically ensured that his players won't be afraid to use drops AND get caught.
Re: Status of Auburn linebackers That's a smart move considering the attention that Auburn has drawn with that professor that was reported for making things easy for athletes.
