simple. all of these people have claimed to be a part of the Holy Trinity. you seem to be of the impression that no-one would make that up I gave you a list of people who did in fact make that up. They imagined they were the Son part of the trinity. they then went around convincing others that they were the Son of God. so, if those guys can make that part up, so can anyone else. How do you choose which is right or wrong. Maybe we've all been worshiping the wrong guy all this time. Maybe we were all supposed to hitch a ride on that comet, but missed our chance.

I see your point now. Well, none of those guys performed any miracles, to my knowledge. Also, none of them were raised from the dead, either. No one caught a ride on that comet, either. But with Christ, a lot of the things that were said seem to have come true. Just take the Virgin Mary, the part about "all generations will call you blessed"....well, I'll be damned if they all haven't since then. And a lot of the prophecies in the Bible seem to be accurate. They wrote that stuff a long time ago. Also, the Trinity is a concept we are aware of now. When Jesus taught that I'm pretty sure he was the first. I don't lend as much credence to the copycat, I guess.

I was once told that if I didn't eat my vegetables, I would grow up to be big and strong. and i'll be damned, I'm only 5'8" and weigh less than 150# guess my mom was some type of prophet. doesn't mean he didn't make it up. Let's see Christ appeared to the apostles, (ok biased group you say), He appeared to Saul (Christian hating Jew, not quite so biased), He appeared to Constantine....Roman emperor.... Or how about His Mother....she's appeared to all kinds of people. And, wow, people are often healed at the places she "allegedly" appeared. Massive groups have witnessed miracles associated with her appearance. And received prophecies that are incredibly accurate as well. Your "comet-riding" people got anything like that to mention....go ahead. Yes, and they have....and I got a good bet they are never going to stop. Your "comet-riders" got anybody still listening to them? And lastly, the Trinity is the only idea on the market regarding such a characteristic of the Supreme Being. Everyone is always saying God is more than just a "person" or a "being" but nobody else has any suggestion as to how that works other than the Trinity. Nobody. I think I'll go with that guy.....yeah, the one that claimed to raise Himself from the dead, the one where all His initial followers got nothing but heartache and pain......the one that was the dominant religion in the greatest civilization the world has ever seen....the one whose mother is honored to this day by millions.....and heals people....yeah, I'll put my money on Him.
