Truth hurts. I have continuously said we are the UGA of the west. Winning just enough to keep miles employed and get our hopes up. Then the games that matter come around and we fall flat on our face.
Yes Miles deserves an apology. I'm all for parting ways with Miles based on the performance of the team. It was lackluster the last two seasons. He was not doing a job worthy of his hefty salary. That said Miles has been nothing but very classy his entire tenure here at LSU. He loves the school, his kids, and they love him back. That was clearly evident. Alleva was not in any way professional in how he handled the entire situation basically dragging Miles through the mud. He also sullied the LSU brand in the process.
He really didn't keep his job, Alleva was just too dumb to fire him or handle the situation properly.
That is a good point, it makes LSU look worse. He should apologize to Miles face to face, man to man though. That said, worse shit goes on to people in every day life at jobs that are far less well compensated with no apology or thank you.
I think alleva let it play out because he thought he would stick it to miles in short time. Then it collapsed and I think he's still in shock.
