I think its pretty good just to even get Miami to Shreveport. You all know how difficult it is for LSU to schedule a non-SEC road game because of the $$$ we get from home games. The only reason we are doing it with V-Tech and Arizona is because we have an extra game these years and we agreed to a home-and-away trade. How long has it been since LSU lured a top tier team to Baton Rouge. It has been many years since we had Miami here (or FSU, etc.). It is quite a coup for LATech to get them. Good for them.
its because they dont have anything to lose...they average about what tulane averages every game....and this way im sure they will get some type of "half and half" deal out of it....more people will show up (to see miami kick techs ass....instead of tech fans going to the game...but its still money in techs pocket regardless)... a cannon went off in techs stadium....tore up thousands of dollars worth of bleacher seats...but yet hit NOBODY...what the hell? how does a cannon go off in your football stadium and hurt no one?.....yeah, that explains how gay tech is right there.... if tech were averaging over 90K people a game (ahem) then they wouldnt need/want to meet miami at a stadium that holds 60K...only to split the profit...instead of getting it all. tech is not doing it to be noble...trust me....they are doing it just to be a rent-a-win. im trying to tel yall..tech is really really gay...like richard simons type homosexual tendencies im going to watch the entire game....because it will be funny as hell....just like when espn came to ruston to do the fresno state game...and fresno state (of all teams) just rolled over tech...oh man that was fun
Hey eleven....Lay off Tech....You must have some personal issues going on here, so if you are gonna bash them, at least let everyone know what your beef is. They are a decent mid level Div 1A team trying to do what is best for the program. The least we can do is respect that. There is no rivalry between Tech and LSU, so why the diatribe?

eleven...I seem to remember another team going 3 and 8 a few years ago also... addressing your other point of Tech thinking they are a big time program...just like with any other school, the blowhards are more vocal. Most are quite realistic in their views of the school, so save your venom for Auburn or Florida....
