Torn MCL. I don't think he was totally ready after game 4 but a little later in the season.

You people are projecting young men who none of you have actually seen play (because they have not yet played their first down of college football.) at the top of our depth charts. Ya'll are some arrogant pompous bastards.

On second thought, we're all tiger fans speculating on what the following year will bring to our program. We have so much depth that any of these guys could step up and be our #1 guy next season.

    Damn this is exciting!:D

Hill partially tore his MCL, which is an easy injury to return from...actually, the easiest of any of the three ligaments (anterior, posterior, and medial-which is the one he hurt) to rehab...

The medial collateral ligament is used for stabilization when the body moves laterally from side to side...I think Hunt was running only a few days after his MCL strain, but he missed the UF game because he just couldn't plant or move laterally...

It's easier to return from because you don't have much muscle atrophy since you can run or get on a bike and be okay under strict movement...

CRAWFISH has blown both of his MCL's out, I think perhaps twice, and he can probably provide you with a better perspective about what it's like to injure those ligaments...

But, Hill was allegedly ready to go after four games, but with the top three we had, along with Bowe stepping up as the fourth wideout, along with Davis rehabbing in time to get some seriously limited playing time, there was no need for Hill this year...

Next year, I've got a feeling that LSU will have it's second straight member of the Freshman All-American team. It's been said that this guy was pushing Devery, and I trust the person who told me that. Also, anyone with eyes at fan day saw him making circus one handed catches for no other reason than to show off and get the fans into the practice...

Hill is the real deal, and I don't think any of us need to worry about the talent level left after Clayton and Devery are gone...

I will make this statement though...Running back is the easiest position to make the transition from high school to college with. Wide receivers, especially in this offense, are required to do so much more, with breaking off routes, reading coverages, blocking downfield (a HUGE part of our schemes), and learning how to run routes precisely and how to move with your quarterback if he breaks containment or the pocket collapses...

A running back, on the other hand, runs to daylight, and really has only to learn to let his blockers allow the play to develop for him, as well as learn to pick up the blitz...and the thing you remember about that is...Get low, and block from the inside out...

I am not sure who is correct, you or Dandy Don. But he seems to think that WR is in fact one of the easiest positions for a freshman to play.

I agree. Green might be our best wideout, but I feel he's more deadly in the slot. He might be #2 or #3 on the depth chart for next season, but I think he'll put up the most stats.

It's hard to put Amp Hill atop the depth chart seeing as we've never actually seen him play--but just going on potential and expectations, I'd say he's more of a #2 at best.

Dwayne Bowe looked pretty good this past season for his first action...
