    I project:

    1. Amp Hill
    2. Early Doucet
    3. Skyler Green
    4. Dwayne Bowe
    5. Xavier Carter
    6. Craig Davis

Skyler Green is a slot receiver. These other guys are wideouts. I don't think Syler will ever be a polished receiver, but what he brings to the table as far as misdirection plays is a big time part of our offensive philosophy.

If Nick signs Xavier Carter, I'll be delighted to watch out for him. If Miami signs him, I hope I never see him play.

Anyone who projects high school kids before ever seeing them play either needs to show me where they made their first million in talent scouting and/or coaching, or tell me what mental institution they escaped from and how to zip back up that white jacket they've got with all the zippers on it...ON THE BACK...

TE, don't you think we all know that? It's just fun to be an LSU fan right now and it's fun to have all this damn talent.

Let us play in our sandbox. We promise we won't be too messy.

Let's not sell Davis or Bowe short. They have gotten a fair amount of playing time this season, and Saban will continue to build on that.

Rumors early in the season that Amp Hill was pushing Devery for the #2 WR could have a serious impact on who plays early.

Starting jobs are almost always won in the spring. So the guys who are already in the system have a one up on the guys who just enter fall camp. That puts Green, Bowe, Davis, and Hill at the advantage.

Look for freshmen like Doucet and Carter (if he signs) to play a lot of special teams so that they continue to stay active.

On Brazell, if we could break out the stick'em from the days of old, that guy would be awesome. I think that we ought to try and use him in the slot like we did Green late in the season. The end around with Brazell would be almost untouchable if he made the corner. But that goes back to holding on to the ball when you get hit.

I dont claim to be an expert at scouting talent, but I can pick out a spectacular catch. I dont know how good any of these kids will be, but I do know what I told my friends about Michael Clayton. Its the same stuff I told them last year about Amp Hill. Those are the only two receivers I have ever made any prediction on since I have followed recruiting. Does that mean anything? Not really. I havent been wrong yet, though! Besides, WR may be the easiest position to come in and contribute as a frosh. Aw, who the hell knows? All I know is that August is a long way away, and without speculation, what else have we to do?

T.E. is right, we are all only speculating and the only thing I will specualte on his I think Skyler stays in the slot as he is a natural for that position. The other receivers we have that everyone is talking about, the freshman and incoming recruits are all kind of big guys who are tailored to the wide out position but Early would seem to be the most logical for the slot if Skyler does move and his game is based on quickness and moves similar to Skylers. But to say who would start and where is a stretch since we really haven't seen any of them play to any extent. Hill was evidentally awsome in the fall but who knows how he comes back from surgery.

Exactly what was the injury to Amp Hill? And was he ready to play after game 4 like someone said in an earlier post?
