I wasn't the only one that stayed to the end? lol That was bad, I think we got the field goal towards the end of the game? Its been a few years. My cousin and I drove from San Antonio to go to that game.
I was also at that game and stayed the whole miserable time. I was sitting in the south end zone and got drenched even thought we had ponchos on. They allowed umbrellas back then, and everybody else's umbrellas just dumped on the people around them. I also made the earthquake game that same year and was lucky to be sitting in the northeast end of the stadium. If you think that was the lowest point for LSU football, then you have selectively blocked memory of the Curley Hallman years. 2-9 in 1992 had to be the worst.
Hallman, what a shittsheaux ... Only Sub .500 coach in LSU history We’ve run a long tough road and have all the elements in place to Build An Unbeatable Dynasty ... This dumbass AD better get his FAT HEAD outta his FAT ASS and open the checkbook ... If you’re Robinson on the DL making $200 K ... You got $750 now with incentives If you’re Bush at Safeties at $450K, you get $1 mil now with incentives If you win a Broyles Award, you get to name your price ... Ditto for being the best DC in America Coach of the Year ... Worthy of more than $4 mil/year ... $6 mil minimum
You’re right. It was the lowest point that I attended. Hallman seasons were the lowest overall. I, too was at Earthquake game! Amazing. 33 (EFuller) is still my favorite number.
