1. FSU has dominated by turning down the SEC for the ACC years ago. You didn't know this yet you claim the SEC screwed up? The SEC is fine if you haven't noticed.
  2. 0 of the teams you mention with the POSSIBLE exception of FSU make sense geographically. I would agree with your television market argument, but wasn't Arkansas in the SEC championship the year before last? They certainly have been competitive.
  3. Made it to the Super Regionals in baseball

    Sweet 16 in basketball

    Huh?
  4. i would like to see a 14 team conference.. get better east/west division with less crossover games. Bring up South. Miss and maybe another C-USA school and Virginia from the floundering big east.
  5. You can't boot Vandy, they give the SEC a huge boost in Academics.

You can't boot Kentucky because of basketball.

You can't boot the Mississippi schools, because they are very enjoyable to regularly abuse on the field.

If I had to pick the schools to get rid of, they would be Arkansas and South Carolina.
  6. I might be alone in this opinion, but I think the SEC is perfect as is. I'd miss any school that was booted out of the conference. If you want to talk expansion, I'd have to see the list of candidates, but I can't really think of ANYONE who I'd consider perfect to add to the conference.
  7. I don't think the SEC will be expanding in the near future, but when they do, I hope they go to 16 teams. Two 8 team divisions makes more sense than 7 teams.

I think super conferences will happen at some point down the road...
  8. Not to mention women's hoops.
  9. No, you arent. The SEC is Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Miss, MSU, Arkansas, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, USC, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt.....just the way it should be.
  10. Virginia is, and has been, in the new ACC, not the Big Least
