Doctors Regularly Prescribe Placebos

    i didnt exactly get that from the article. seemed poorly phrased. but if they are prescribing antibiotics for anything other than bacterial infections they should be reprimanded and have their license revoked if they dont stop.

    ha, that's funny. I definitely agree with you, but unfortunately, it's not reality. The docs prescribe these drugs because if they don't, the patients don't come back. Believe it or not, *gasp* it all comes down to money.

    And a whiney public that believes that their health problems are the fault of science, or God, or the government, and not thier own decades of neglect and self-abuse.

    A placebo is a Dr's way of gently saying - quit whining and fix yourself, wussy.
