Exactly, but when it REALLY looks like a bomb then steps need to be taken. Maybe they cuffed him until they could figure out it wasn't a bomb or that there was no remote detonator? They cuffed him, big deal, they didn't beat him, or hook him up with a taser shot, they just kept him and everyone else safe. I see nothing wrong here except jihad johnny isn't on a plane the hell out of here because this isn't over.
I dont know when people are going to learn that you just dont fuck with police. If they want to handcuff me or my family for no reason fine. Do it. I can use legal means after the fact. When people want to rage out over this shit, thats how you end up dead. Good luck to ya.
tell you what....let's give the teachers the benefit of the doubt. why didn't they evacuate the school? why was a bomb squad never brought in? you see, this is where the story breaks down for the teachers and police officers: if they truly believed it was a bomb, they never followed the protocol for it by evacuating the other students and faculty and calling in a bomb squad. This was never done. So, that leaves us with either the teachers ignoring protocol for keeping every other student safe and for safely removing the bomb OR they knew it wasn't a bomb all along but thought they were going to put some scare into this kid because they were "convinced" that he had the intention of scaring the shit out of them, which he did because they are the "victims." The facts are lining up for the latter. Call him Jihad Johnny all you want and keep you head up your ass but the kid did nothing wrong and now we have teachers and police officers lying to make a 14 year old kid look like he victimized all of them.
Speculation. I'm allowed to speculate right? And no I have never done anything remotely close to what this kid did.
im calling your responses stupid because you think the reaction to this was appropriate, handcuffs and juvenile detention center after they found out it wasnt a bomb. Id be pissed if that happen to my son, any science projects with wires can be construed as an explosive device, the kids parents should have monitored it or sent a note to school or called his teacher to say he is bringing it, but the response is down right stupid.
of course you dont, your military experience maybe has blinded you to the sensitivities of detaining a kid that has never been in trouble and taking him to juvenile detention center after the found out it wasnt a bomb. If you dont see anything wrong with that, then there is nothing else for us to talk about on this subject.
