Is the kid calling THAT a pencil case? I've taught in North Texas for the past 19 years, and I've not seen a kid use a that sort of thing as a pencil case.
Well, that's what they call it. Its too small to be a briefcase, check the AC plug. Maybe a medicine box or something? His is bent, he probably got it out of the trash. http://www.amazon.com/Vaultz-Lockin...=1442624772&sr=8-1&keywords=metal+pencil+case
Agreed. Too small for a briefcase. But like Stacey, I have never seen this type of pencil box, either for sale or in the classroom. I'm not sure if it's smaller size makes it any less of a problem. In fact, it might be worse. At my son's middle school, kids aren't allowed to open their backpacks in the lunch room. This type of device wouldn't fly.
I thought I read somewhere the day this happened, that it wasn't for telling time but for use as an alarm. Which would make sense since it was described as "going off" in the English class.
Interesting though, isn't it, that nobody has asked what Bengal B just did? Why hasn't anyone in the media asked how one can tell the time? And exactly how many other clocks make noise like this one did?
I will 1 up you on that. In my kids schools (elementary and high school) back packs are only for carrying stuff to and from school. Back packs go in the lockers when they arrive. It may be for safety sake or the fact that they don't have books anymore to carry to and from classes.
