I agree with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige
Then next year or in the future when it comes down to a one Loss LSU team or a one Loss Michigan team or any other team and you complain about LSU not going to the NC then you will be a hypocrit just like all the talking heads on ESPN that are crying for a team that has alreay lost to OSU, and did not win its conference, to play for the NC after these same analyst have said over and over that USC v. LSU should have been the game in 2003 not LSU v. Oklahoma because OK didnt win its conference. Trust me LSU in the Rose would be sweet but getting the shaft in the future trumps that and Im sure you would complaining about the national media's hatred for the SEC and LSU. And I think alot of LSU fans and all other SEC team fans pull for an SEC national champion whenever possible, for respect for the conference.
Personally i despise every single team in the SEC besides LSU so I don't giving a flying fudge what in the hell they do. Sorry I'm on 11 hours of sleep in 3 days. I'm hurting.
Just a random thought. I think Florida going to the National Championship game leaves us with a legitimate possibility of another split title. If UF wins a tight one @ Glenndale, and Michigan wins convincingly in the Rose, I really wouldn't be surprised to see the AP give the title to the more medai loveable Wolverines. I'm think that a second split title in 3 years (plus the AU debacle in '04) are all positive stepstowards @h!tcanning the current system.
I agree. I'm for anything that makes the BCS look really silly. I know it's probably impossible for this to happen, but I would love to see Michigan and Florida end up in a tie ... a wonder what the tie-breaker would be for that?:hihi:
If ESPN had anything to say about it, the tie breaker would be: Which team is located closest to Lake Michigan Which team is located farthest from Cuba Which team does not play in the SEC Which team has Maize as and official color Which team stand the better chance of seeing snow falling on campus Christmas day. Which teams home state would have been on the winning side of the Civil War
Michigan - Team SOS: 0.5992 | Wins: 83 | Losses: 50 | Winning %: 0.6241 Florida - Team SOS: 0.5954 | Wins: 89 | Losses: 54 | Winning %: 0.6224 http://www.warrennolan.com/football/2006/sos There's one thing going in our favor for the Rose Bowl. Michigan has a slightly better SOS.
Guess it depends on who you believe. The official NCAA statistics has Florida ahead of Michigan. Either way, it's close. NCAA Toughest Schedule
Quick question. Does Fla's game against the 1-AA opponent count? Or is it thrown out completely and not exist?
Thought I'd revisit this poll islstl started a few weeks ago. Strange, only 4 posters thought Michigan should have a chance of a rematch. Man, we are a fickle bunch.:hihi: http://www.tigerforums.com/showthread.php?t=45829&highlight=michigan+rematch
