Chicken bones if they are softened up. Chicken bones are actually better raw as they don't splinter as much, but if you feed them already cooked scrap bones, best to run them through a pressure cooker first. Mostly the leg and thigh bones though. Dogs need bones though. Helps keep their teeth healthy.
Yep. Not much chicken but pork and beef bones all the time. If she eats too much though it makes her sick and she just curls up in my closet and won't come out for a day or two
When I do a rack of ribs, I save the bones in the freezer. I get Bleu one out about once a week to supplement the table scraps she gets. She eats 95% prepared bagged food, but I know if I was a dog, I would want a bone!
Science Diet is excellent and I fed it to my Rott and a little shit dog for a long time...until Purina One came along. Same food, half the price. My present little companion still gets Purina One, 23 years after discovering it.
I have 7 dogs...I feed the bigger dogs anything they want to eat as they patrol my property and are constantly catching and eating rabbits and mice. Smaller ones I only feed dog food.
No. I may have once let them chew on a beef bone but took it away after a little while. They have a cow hoof they chew on. I feed mine Nutro Ultra. They are healthy as all get out, even the one who had the seizures on Memorial day. He hasn't had anymore so I am thinking he got into something he shouldn't have
Glad we don't have any crazies here. In Alaska they feed those sled dogs fish. FISH! People worry too much about it, I have found.
