?? Do we redshirt some of the 5 Stars or not??

Well had Murphy been playing/practicing better than either of those he would have been playing. Keiland is big powerful and fast and once the OL started blocking better he showed he is the real deal.

 

FWIW,
In an interview shortly after enrolling at LSU in January, Barksdale said he wanted to red shirt. Don't know if this was something discussed during his recruiting by LSU, but I would find it odd that he says he is going to red shirt if he has not discussed it with the coaches.

So many things can happen between now and then... injuries, players not qualifying academically, things like that. So we just have to wait and see. I think some players on the d-line might get redshirted because of all the depth we have, and I'm sure Jarret Lee will get redshirted. And we also got a lot of WRs so a few might get redshirted. So we'll just have to wait and see.
