Do we have a shot at Spencer Region?

I wouldn't mind him at center, but he is a little taller than what we are used to at that position. Big guy, self-described mauler. Looks like he is mean and nasty and a bit of a free spirit. I got all of that by looking at his picture!:D

I would try to pick up any 3 to 5 star Alabama recruit that I can. Just to show some LSU Fans who still are in love with Coach Saban that he is not the God that they think he is.

Coach Saban is HISTORY, they need to get over him.

    ParadiseiNC don't worry, be happy

then don't even bring him up. most of us ARE over him and very thankful for Coach Miles.

Exactly. The only person mentioning Saban is the guy saying we should get over Saban. 4 posts in this thread, 3 regarding Saban. :insane:

We need Spencer Region more than ever now. I really like the big OGs. Region is 6'-6" and is 345# big enough for me.

Whats even more sad about this comment is that Saban isnt even recruiting this guy anymore, stop several months ago, so did AU. thats the reason he is even looking at LSU.

Saban isn't recruiting him anymore because he switched to AU and Region was looking at LSU before the whole AU/Bama thing but didn't have an offer from LSU. LSU started increasing interest in him when we G-Rob committed to AU but we still didn't offer and offered Jonah Austin instead.

I know the cards are not in Region Favor now, because of the two St. Aug. Offensive Linemen that we have committed to LSU. But I sure would like to have another Big OL like Region tho.

The Problem with the "BIG" offensive guards is that no matter how big they are...they need to be quick footed....because guards do alot of pulling....and if they cant get down the line....they just plug the holes up.
