Pretty sure they are a company started by Al Copeland. He sold Popeyes but with an agreement that most of the food products for the restaurants would be purchased from his company Diversified Foods. Like batter, seasonings, gravies etc. They have since branched out it seems. He was an asshole but a great businessman.
