Giraldo Rivera is a drama queen of the first order. Also we are kind of up to our asses in hurricane relief in Texas, Louisiana and Florida we are stretched thin we will get to Puerto Rico when we can. We are also trying to help Mexico with their earthquake issues.

The situation in Puerto Rico is much more dire than hurricane relief. We're talking they are out of water, food, medical supplies. There is no power, no cell service. Generators are only able to provide basic air and power to hospital ICU units....the rest of the hospitals are in the dark.

The fact that it's an island and only accessible by water at this point, makes it more challenging than the US mainland. Phuck Mexico and their earthquake. American citizens deserve better than "when we can".

Not minimizing the devestation buddy just that we sent a lot of human and other resources to our mainland domestic needs. Parts of Houston are still flooded and Beaumont was left stranded with very little help cause all resources were in Houston. Lets not forget that cities like Rockport and Corpus Chriti were devastated. We can only take care of so much at one time. As far as Mexico I agree but we dont help them too then guys, if he is a guy, like Rex would claim Trump hates Mexicans. Then there is Fla and the Keys. Lastly PR is much too far away for help from fellow citizens like in Texas, Louisiana and Fla. Not buying we are too slow different dynamics with hurricane Marie.

Buddy? Really? And yes, you did minimize by suggesting that we will get to Puerto Rico "when we can".

They have water. They have food. They have access to medical supplies. They have diapers. Most of PR has none of those things right now.

Mainland USA may be easier but they are no more citizens than the people who live in PR. They deserve our BEST effort, not "when we can".

    Are you drunk?

They are us citizens and deserve our help. One point of clarification is that they are not a state mostly by their own choice. Therefore they don't pay federal income taxes. So getting exactly the same response from the federal government should not be expected.

Trump on why he won't lift the Jones Act to help Puerto Rico: “A lot of people who are in the shipping industry don’t want it lifted." He's willing to let people die in order to protect the profits of a few of his friends (Elaine Chao and her family among them.)

Also you just dont drive over to PR and lend a hand. We are talking about trying to fly into the one large airport they have which is damaged. When Havey struck Beaumont for almost a week help came pretty slow because resources were tied up all over Texas. Wasn't that no one cared was just that things cant move that fast. PR is an island and the logistics of helping is very complicated. For instance power companies from all over America drove to Texas and Fla to lend a hand thats impossible in this case. Hey Rex get your caring buddies at Black Lives Matter and Antifa to head over there.
