Yeshua is the most common male name in Hebrew. There are many mistranslations like Joshua and Jesus and many misspellings like Jeshua in the King James Bible where over 30 Jeshua's are recorded.

    Yeshua or Jesus

Totally bogus story. :dis: Unbelievers will ALWAYS attempt to discredit Christianity.

Jesus was resurrected and the tomb was empty.....And that's just the beginning of the story.

They can't. The whole effort is a fraud going under the name of archeology. For one thing the names were written in Greek. Had it really been the tomb of Jesus, the names would have been written in Aramaic. No one is taking this seriously.

Good post. But is Yeshua Hebrew or Aramaic? Jesus spoke Aramaic and did most Jews during his time. It was a common or low form of Hebrew - like Koine Greek was to the Greeks. I strongly suspect the original text of Matthew and perhaps Mark and Luke were written in Aramaic since that was the common Jewish language of the time.

Is Aramaic a written language? And why assume those who wrote the Bible weren't educated?
