Not at all. It simply acknowledges the fact that the prosperous people have enjoyed more of the freedoms, benefits, and advantages of life in America more than the poorest people. It is only right that they pay more, not only because they can easily do so, but because it is right and fair and also in their best interests that they contribute more to the nations prosperity. If the nation goes underfunded, as at present, the accumulated debt, crumbling infrastructure, and economic malaise will hurt the prosperous people as well as the poor.
It doesn't appear he does, I never saw an answer. Or could it be they have worked harder and have earned the right to their prosperity? Seems like the American dream was something to be earned not given. Perhaps if more of the people on government assistance would get off it, pursue a job and pay an equal percentage of tax it would also be "right and fair and also in their best interests that they contribute more to the nations prosperity" It's ridiculous for anyone to give .40 cents of every $1.00 they make to any government.....unless of course it's the United States of Tigerchick46
