At the last moment Macron swerves away from the Orange Buffoon to greet Angela Merkel first... and relegates Trump down to fourth. In some macho attempt at dominance Trump then tries to rip Macron's arm off, but Macron wasn't having any of it:

The new "conservative" idea of the First Amendment and Freedom of the Press: it's absolutely commendable for a GOP politician to physically assault and batter a journalist who has the audacity to ask him tough questions. And it's also OK that the man in the White House asked the FBI to throw reporters in jail for writing unflattering stories. These are scary times, not so much that that man in the White House is supremely evil and stupid, but that he's actually brighter than the great majority of people who voted for him.
