I agree with all of those that say let it go. Lee was a mediocre QB and so was Jefferson. And for what it's worth, the offensive line was owned in that game. If you think Jefferson was ineffective; imagine what JL, with his feet of lead would've done. There was never more than 2 seconds before a Bama defender was in our backfield.
I would agree with you, if we had not played bama already that year. We did, and our O line was not owned that game. Watch the replay (NC) the players did not look like they cared to be out there. Something happened, it involved T-Bob and Shepard.--------- So far Mett is a mediocre QB as well. Its "OK" we have won NC with mediocre QB's.
I didn't want to bump this, but since it's already at the top....WTF are we even talking about? Seriously...
A few people who only show up for football season have not been able to let this business go. They don't understand that we are sick and tired of hearing stuff we hashed out here 100 times 8 months ago.
A simple suggestion for you: Stop whining like a little school girl. If you do not like something, do not read it, and surely do not reply to it. Yes, some of us have lives after football season is over. We can not be as cool as you, and live on a blog.
I wouldn't say that either Mauck or Flynn were mediocre QB's. They were efficient game managers, and both could use their feet to get out of jams, when needed. As for the conspiracy theory about locker room strife before the game, seriously? Our line was owned by their line. It happens all of the time in football--without high drama in the locker room.
How about labeling your threads accordingly, so we CAN ignore it. The title of your thread leads one to believe you would be showing stats through 3 games this year. Had I known you would be rehashing stuff that's already been discussed in 2 billion other threads, I wouldn't have wasted my time reading it.
