We lose to Bama the first time if we stick with Lee. As to comparing, last years first three games > than this years so there's no comparison to be made, really.
Lee had to come in cold in that game. So there is really no comparison. Lee played extremely well all year, had no business sitting it out for Jefferson. The one thing I remember from that game is how Saban was such an idiot for not passing more to Trent out of the backfield. And how Miles was such an idiot for not running Ford on the sweep. If it is working please go with it! Not so hard to figure out. Hopefully Saban will try to kick long field goals. What an idiot!
I agree. I'll also add that Lee could be "something" at the next level. For all practical purposes, JJ's playing days are most likely done.
You da man! No bad blood. I am just frustrated with last season. Lee was doing so well, it was great to see. I never thought he could recover from his freshman year. Miles had a loyalty to Jefferson I will never understand.
Why is this still a topic of conversation? I clicked on this thread to see stats through 3 games this year and see that it's a lame thread about the NC debacle. Nothing can be done to undo it, so it's a complete waste of time. But, if you want to dwell in the past and let it keep eating at you, then have at it, but at least have the courtesy to label your threads accordingly so that the majority of us can choose to ignore them, if we're so inclined.
There's a reason Lee led the SEC in passing efficiency last year. He came out ready to play and had a bad outing against Bama. Who knows if he would have led us back in that game but thankfully Jefferson did. Too bad Lee never had that same opportunity in game 2. I loved the balance of the offense with Lee in the first half of the season.
