Big culture shock between the two. I got my graduate degree at MC, and I have to say it is a little different than LSU. It is a great little school though. Still bleed purple & gold though.:geaux:

    TOP Ramen

    Yea,
I remember Top Ramen well! My soph year me and a friend decide we're going to save money on food and buy a case of that stuff from Sams. I got sick of it after 4 days. Somehow a couple ramen cups ended floating in the pool at Oakbrook Village.

The Great"Wall" of china rocks. Best chinese buffett in town. Still good. My favorite cheap eats are those wonder-roast chickens from Calandro's. they inject them with cajun butter and roast an entire whole chicken hot for $5.96. That's equal to the price of a whole uncooked chicken.

Yeah, right. A mugger is going to knock you in the head because you have a $10 dollar bill on you to pay for a 6 pack and a pack of smokes. Eleven. are you a man or of the female persuasion? I can understand a girl being afraid to carry any cash in light of the recent serial killer situation even though the killer wouldn't have been after their money. If you have $20 or $30 or $50 bucks on you who the hell knows it but you if you don't flash your cash? You are a Tigerfan, by God. Do you think there is a single player on the team who is afraid to go out with a Ben Franklin or two in his jeans? I would be embarrassed to have to pay for a $2 or $5 purchase and hold up the people behind me while they processed my card.

And think of this Eleven. A crackhead sees you and decides that you look like you're worth robbing. You have lets say $23.65 in your pocket put no plastic. The crackhead takes your cash and you are out $23.65. Same crackhead accosts you. You have no cash but a wallet full of plastic. Crackhead dosn't know the limit of your cards but he is irrational anyway. You might have a $300 or $400 daily cash withdrawal limit, a common amount. Instead of grabbing the small amount of cash you might have had and running off the crackhead pistol whips you and forces you to accompany him to the nearest ATM and withdraw a lot more than the few bucks in cash you might have had on you. You are now out $400 and since the crackhead has added a kidnapping charge to the armed robbery charge he might just kill you. Of course guys like that almost always get caught because they are stupid. The crackhead will be convicted and sentenced to either death or life in prison. You will be dead because you had enough plastic on you to be worth hundreds of dollars instead of a few dollars in cash.

BRPD was retarded and it took me about 90 minutues to get home and I live on Brightside! I tailgated in the Parker Colesium lot and well they dont let traffic turn right onto Lee from Highland. I had to go down all the way to Gardere and take it all the way to River Road and then go down River Road until I finally got to Brightside. If I am going to keep tailgating at Parker I gots to find a quicker was home. When I tailgated on the corner of Nicholson and Burbank it was easy cheese but it was hell last night.

Speaking of the BRPD, the routes into the game are dumb. I've never really gone into the game as late as I did yesterday (5:30) but they reserve all of Highland Road for permit parking. Since when did buying a parking pass give people exclusive right to use a main road going into campus? If you lived on Highland, you were SOL.

BayouBengal, I think you have to park somewhere closer to Burbank/Nicholson and then walk to your tailgate spot as long as you don't have too much stuff to carry. If you're the one cooking, drop it off and then go park elsewhere. As college students we're supposed to dislike the police, and their behavior on gamedays help those feelings.
