There is no way he is lobbying to come to LSU. There is no way I would want here either. He has got to be my least favorite coach ever. I don't know if I could ever grow to like him as an LSU coach.
I much rather play in the Peach Bowl than the dreaded Cotton Bowl at 10 a.m. The Peach Bowl is on ESPN and it's at night.
Agreed. Is it just me, or does it seem the Peach Bowl is slowly starting to pick up prestige? Last year Miami vs. Florida. This year Miami vs. LSU. That's better than both of the Cotton Bowls from those years (Tennessee-Texas A&M, Alabama-Texas Tech).
I haven't liked him in the past either, but would definitely learn to like him very quickly as a head coach. Like or dislike, he is a good coach. Ideal situation would be to have Spurrier as our offensive coordinator, Saban as our defensive coordinator and let them make head coaching decisions that they disagree on with a quick game of rock, paper, scissors. Ahh, well we can dream at least.
Here's a question..... Take the "Bowl Game" out of the mix, would you rather go against Miami or West VA????? Miami, wout any hesitation!!!! :geauxtige
You would be crazy not to want Spurrier here. Who else can take talentless QB's and make them Heisman Winners. Imagaine what he could do with Russell or Perriloux. Our receievers with a talented QB and Spurrier= UNSTOPABLE.
