I think everyone can agree that male pedophiles volunteering for Boy Scouts or leading youth groups are doing it with evil intentions. I'm not sure if that is the case with these female pedophile teachers. I'm guessing it just happens.
I don't think they are pedophiles, not a huge age gap is there? Not the best decision making on their part and I'm sure "the kid" didn't put up much of a fight.
Definitely different type of pedophile and maybe not as evil. Every case is different. Some of the male victims are in the 13/14 range so that's pretty sick. Guessing I'd have some major issues if that happened to me around that age.
Again thst word "victim" If it had happened to me at that age I'd still have memories of it and those memories would be a long way off from nightmares
Sure they are pedophiles. The law is very clear and consent has nothing to do with it. Women don't rate a different law than men.
Shane, age gap between victim and perpetrator isn't part of the definition. Although I would say that the oldest female at 32 was twice the victim's age at just 16. And the other one was 8 years older. They both need to go to jail. The law and medical diagnosis are very clear. Pedophilia is specific to prepubescent children, typically age 11 or less with a cap at 13. They had sex with a minor which is still against the law but different than being pedophiles.
How old were they? I'm going to guess the women were around 24 and the kid was probably 16 or 17. There isn't a whole lot wrong with that.
Ok so you posted the ages while I was posting my response to red. Meh so they were a bit older than I thought, still wouldn't put them in jail. Far better choices to lock up than those two.
They should certainly be fired and never work in a school again. But jail is ridiculous. Aren't the jails overcrowded enough as it is? They are in this position for having an inappropriate relationship with a student, which is stupid X 100, but what harm are they to society, in general? Are they dangerous? With all of that being said, how stupid are these two women? Damn...
