You're welcome. One thing I wonder about is what the effect will be in five or so electronic generations when we have widely available photo-realistic computer animations that won't require any human models to produce. Someone will be able to produce "child" porn but there won't be any children involved. So where will the victim be in that process? But I don't think my client was doing anything haphazardly. It was all very intentional -- that is, he intended to get child porn and he got it. But this one still bugs me. The system is going to eat him alive.
Defending the right of speech isn't the same thing as defending an adult having sex with a minor. The ACLU don't advocate illegal activities but the right to express opinions. That's why even the KKK and the neo-nazis have the right to express their opinion. In a free society we must deal with opposing views. The ACLU represents those who want that constitutional right. They don't represent or advocate their causes.
yes i didnt mean his was unintentional. I was describing the opposite end. regarding your 'synthetic' porn thats certainly another grey area but be sure the japanese are likely already on it.
Law & Order SVU beat you to it. Had digitally altered girls that were of age changed and manipulated to look as if they were 13 or so. I don't remember how it turned out, I think the guy walked on the initial charge because no children were used in the production of the video but they got him somewhere else. The point being, if it isn't already happening it will before too long. Freaks I tell ya.
well we can keep them all locked up in virtual worlds minus a black light. too expensive. may as well shoot em.
Yeah, that's something like what I was thinking about. Still looks a little like anime though that's probably just the Japanese preference. Here's a trailer for a video game I've played recently and this is closer to the type of graphics I can see leading to synthetic porn. It absolutely blows me away that some of this is computer generated.
