Libtards are using the tired 'he's trying to overthrow democracy of an elected official' trope when in actuality, he did it because the prosecutor is selectively enforcing Florida state law. Because he is choosing to prosecute some crimes, but not others, DeSantis is well within his legal right as the governor to suspend the attorney. In fact, it's DeSantis' duty to do so regardless of the politics.

Let's be accurate here... DeSantis fired him for something HE MIGHT NOT DO, not something he hasn't done.

That aside, in the wake of the Kansas slapdown of anti-choice legislation this was not a good poltiical move by DeSantis.

He signed a letter of his intent. Whatever his personal opinions are, it does not trump state law and if he's vowed not to prosecute violators, then DeSantis made the right decision. Besides, its not just about abortions. He also vowed not to prosecute butchers who performance sex change operations on minors. What other laws that he disagrees with would he fail to act on?

That's your opinion and it's wrong as usual. The SC strikedown of RvW is working just as intended by letting states decide. If Warren is not going to do his duty, then I applaud the move, as I would anyone regardless of political affiliation. The fact that he's a woke dim is lagniappe.

Bullsnot, or at least I think it's Bullsnot. Hard to tell from your way too vague incorrect, double negative statement. This guy has been giving criminals a pass for a good while. A couple hundred people were arrested for various crimes during the BLM/George Floyd riots. He threw every case out, even the violent ones and ones with destruction of property. I live near by, The people of Tampa are very happy the governor acted. By the way, the way the system works in Florida is the legislature makes the laws, not the DA or states attorney. Prosecutorial discretion functions on a case by case basis, not for whole classes of crimes.

But have you noticed .. it is ALWAYS the LEFT that decides they don't want to uphold the law. Immigration, teaching kids to be gay in schools, laws on abortion determined by the people of the state, VOTER LAWS! .. the list goes on and on.

The best part was sending in state police to evict him from office and to ensure no theft of files, sabotage, etc.
