Come on. Single-pay is out. Public Option is out. Those were major Republican objection to the health bill that are no longer in it over the objections of the left wing democrats. The GOP wasn't going to go along with anything this administration proposed.

Payback is a bitch, it's one of the checks and balances of the system. Both parties should pay more attention to the golden rule because the pendulum always swings back.

Did you pay attention at all to the last elections? Moderates went to the democrats in droves. Why do you think that was? Didn't you also witness the blue dog moderate democrats pull the health bill to the center? You aren't paying attention. The republicans don't even have a moderate faction.

Oh, do you feel better now? We all have to mischaracterize each other in silly schoolyard fashion tonight, it seems. OK, I'll play along. All the goose-stepping fascists on the board seem determined to paint moderates as far-left liberals for some strange reason. And they wonder why independents find the democrats to be more moderate than those republicans . . . waaaaaaaay out there in right field.

Government has grown steadily since 1776. That's not a particular failure of this administration. It's just one of your pet peeves.

it is a particular failure in the sense that they have accelerated the rate of government growth like no other administration.

this is the argument we hear over and over from liberals. "massive government isnt bad because other administrations do it too". wrong. it is always terrible, a tremendous failure.

It is a failure of any administration when it goes against our own constitution.

The Constitution does not give Congress to power to mandate health insurance.

Here we go again . . . Usually people bring up this lame topic to change the subject when they're losing an argument. I suppose you are resigning at the opening!

For those slow folks who still don't get it. I'm a lifelong registered independent. I vote for moderate democrats, not liberal democrats and I vote for moderate republicans when they still existed and I probably will again when they finally re-emerge. I have voted for as many republican presidents as I have democratic presidents.

I voted for Bobby Jindal, which was a mistake. I though thought we needed an intellectual in the office after a run of dim bulbs in the office. But he has been revealed as a right-wing ideologue with national ambitions who puts party before brainpower.

I get to choose my politics, not walk in blind lock step with a political party or a extreme ideology. I get to change my mind when a politician goes south.

Your consistent defense of Obama's uncontrolled spending proposals says otherwise.

I find it hard to keep track of state politics as I get most of my info from national news sites so what specifically don't you like about Jindal? Is it that he cut funding to higher education institutions?
