Democrats Vying for Presidential Nomination

Sorry guys, as of this minute in time, I believe it will be Biden, and a Democratic House, with the Senate getting closer, but GOP still in majority. I am not necessarily thrilled with that outcome. But that’s where I see this goiing.

A lot can, and will happen, between now and the election, so things may well change.

I’d ask you to look in the mirror and ask yourself "Would you prefer Trump and his team, or Biden and his team leading us in the fight against the coronavirus?

Having stated all that, it is alarming to me that the two presumptive candidates are both really, really old. Some of the potential Dem VP possibilities scare me shitless.

How? Bernie’s voters ain’t gonna vote for Biden and For Biden to get them, he is going to say some dumb shit like “take all of your guns”.
I hope Biden says “ban fracking”, will be the final nail in their party.

The key to Biden running the show . . . is that he wouldn’t. Scientist and doctors would be steering the ship as it navigates through the choppy seas of coronavirus. I also expect Biden would not rely on "hunches" in coming up with fatality rate, and he probably would not have suggested sick people go to work.

Suppose he really is losing his mind, why would all these presumably pretty sharp people endorse him and stake 'everything' on him? Is the Democrats best hope an elderly man descending into senility? Seems crazy - but not much surprises me anymore. Guess they figure he's 'likable' - especially with black voters, he's part of the establishment, and all the rest have a bigger cross to bear.
I think that the small percentage of independents that will swing the election will vote Trump - too apprehensive of an 'empty suit' in the oval office. Contrary to popular opinion, i think Bernie had a better chance....that lure of the promises of Socialism - lots of free shit, debt forgiveness, etc - would have suckered too many people into thinking maybe this time it will be different.

I'd love it. But the problem is he has to get through lots of debates and speeches before election day. I don't think he will be electable.

 

So you think the better solution is to shut the country down for a few months? I mean, that is the only way to stop it.
