During the Thanksgiving holidays there were mile long lines at Tesla charging stations between LA and San Francisco. It takes 2 hours to charge a Tesla battery. I can fill my tank with gas and be on my way in 10 minutes.
An interesting and scary look at Michael Bloomberg. The trend to authoritarian rule is strong in liberals. Read This: "You Think Trump’s a Danger to Democracy? Get a Load of Bloomberg." https://www.thedailybeast.com/you-t...emocracy-get-a-load-of-mike-bloomberg?via=ios
Anyone scared of Iran does not know Iran. The big picture is 98% of that country wants those religious zealots gone!

No. There was ONE charging station in SLO that had 15 cars on Turkey Day. And that is a supercharging station which means it can be fully charged in 75 minutes, not 2 hours. 40 minutes gets you 80% charged and that is enough to finish the trip. They also brought in a mobile supercharger with a megapack to facilitate the demand. Of course it's faster for a gas refueling and I wouldn't own a Tesla but let's not put false info out there.
A guy I work with has a Tesla (0-60 3.9 sec). It’s down to about 15 minutes to 80% charge and will be faster soon. Apparently a software update. That makes it about the same as getting gas, taking a leak and buying a drink. Batteries last at least 500,000 miles. There’re Tesla charging stations every 150 miles on the interstate highways.
As I said before, the power draw on an entire grid of all electric cars would melt in its current state. Further, with electricity prices, there are zero savings.
I don’t disagree. There’s is so much BS in the green movement’s position it shows it’s not serious about anything but bringing on socialism. Our society needs plentiful, dense and cheap power. You want it to be as clean as possible but not at the cost of prosperity.
