North Korea isn't going around threatening invasions of sovereign nations

contrary to whether they get UN approval or not, are they? As far as North Koreans being able to change governments, pppppsssssssttttttt, it has already happened on an order of magnitude larger scale. Ever hear of the Eastern block, the Berlin Wall, etc. I believe all those nations were considered communist states, and it didn't take warmongering to bring them down, did it?

doesnt answer the question does it? if they arent a terrorist nation, why are they a threat as your own thread headline states?
and the other countries fell one after another as soviet authority weakened.
north korea is not under russian rule, and they are perhaps the most closed society in the world. compared to them, cubans live a life of incredible freedom

North Korea has close ties with Communist China

just like the Iron Curtain countries had ties to the Soviet Union. Yes, North Korea IS more of a threat than Iraq, but Iraq is basically no threat at all. I will repeat what I have posted many times on this board -- polls taken of the citizens of NATO countries are asked what country in the world is the biggest threat to world peace. The answer is... the United States because Sapling doesn't even understand the problems and conflicts of the world, thus obviously doesn't have a clue how to solve them. His foreign policy is hypocritical in nature which is why North Korea is getting more of a pass than Iraq even though North Korea has been found in violation of nuclear agreements while Iraq has not. Also, more ties have gone back to Saudi Arabia than Iraq (actually none to Iraq) yet Sapling kept trying to FABRICATE ties to Iraq that the British Intelligence AND the US intelligence community says wasn't there to begin with.
