Snatch, box, or trim would also be OK... :hihi: ...but I do admit, they wouldn't sound quite as cool/cruel...
True, I have never watched douchebags. Is it fun for you? :hihi: Also true, I haven't watched Colmes because Hammity comes with him.
You have to be kidding right? The Dow has nothing to do directly with the economy. The Dow is a market driven auction house that is based on supply and demand and investor sentiment. It doesn't go up or down based on real GDP. If you look at current forecasts the real GDP (adjusted for inflation) is projected to grow at 3.6% this year and 3.1% for 2007. This is in line with historical numbers. The only thing out of whack is what is projected for 2012-2016 at 2.6%. This data is courtesty of cbo.gov and brokerrookie (head of the economics dept!)(no really, I am)
I'm starting to think that the democrats are idiots. Democrats calling for a timeline? We've never needed a timeline before btw. I absolutely love the more they say, talk, the dumber they appear. If they would just shut up and let things play out they would be better off. I've been watching a little more news the last 2 days and it amazes me that they keep the same talking points over and over and over. WMD's, we shouldn't have gone, blah, blah, blah while now there are reports of Saddam's connection with the Taliban and everyone knows there were terrorists camps in Iraq. As bad as the Republicans are the Democrats are worse. This is why I think they will still lose this fall. They seem anti-win in Iraq, pro Vietnam. No wonder a lot of people don't think the Democrats can protect our country from the enemy, no wonder why they look weak on defense. The Democrats are their own worst enemy!
I agree. Did you hear the lunatic Murtha on Russert's show Sunday. He was rambling on incoherently. I love his and other DEM's plan of "redeployment." Really "retreat." He said Clinton "redeployed" our troops after the Black Hawk Down episode in Somalia. REDEPLOYED?.......that's the DEM idea of redeployment. They just cannot say what they really want can they? They just can't. He also said our troops now in Iraq ought to be "redeployed" 4000 miles away to Okinawai.......4000 miles. This guy is a fruitcake....like many up there on the Hill..
There is a nuclear war brewing with North Korea, you know. We've deployed three aircraft carriers there staging war games. We also have B-1, B-2, and B-52 bombers on TDY on Guam and an Aegis cruiser with classified missiles on permanent station in the Sea of Japan. http://www.cnn.com korean ICBM http://www.cnn.com wargames Okinawa is the key staging area for any war with Korea. And if it happens we better be ready for it, not with our ground forces tied down babysitting a civil war for a bunch of ungrateful ragheads who hate us. Korea actually has nuclear weapons and the means to deliver them. If this current ICBM missile test is carried out sucessfully, then they can hit the United States, which is entirely unacceptable. Murtha makes good sense, redeployment to meet a serious military threat is not retreat. Bush feels that simple political resolve is the solution to all problems. But if he gets caught with his pants down in Korea and gets embarrassed by Kim Sung Il, leaving us vulnerable to a madman's nuclear missiles and possibly losing South Korea . . . history will treat him even more harshly for burying his head in the sand in Iraq.
