You are evading the question. You stated that "liberal" networks claim to be non-biased and centrist. You still haven't shown me where that was claimed by any network. I think you made it up.
NPR news itself is better balanced than most news sources, but the many commentary talk shows on NPR are very liberal. Overall, if you listen to NPR, you will get a though understanding of the liberal side of issues and a cursory understanding of the conservative side. NPR is not a flaming radical left-wing network, but it is to the left of center.
There isn't one. As I said previously, one cannot get the whole news if they don't listen to multiple sources. People who listen to NPR exclusively are missing some of the arguments. People who listen to FOX only are missing them as well. CNN wanders back and forth across the middle but even they will not cover every aspect of every issue. If I had to pick one source it would be CNN, but fortunately I don't have to. It's easier to understand SabanFan's views if all he listens to is FOXnews and all he reads is the Layateet newspaper.
You know, I strongly agree that it's important to listen to the arguments from both sides...even if that means patronizing an entity whose supposed viewpoints you despise. But, in all honesty, it's very difficult for me to take network news seriously anymore...especially Fox. They're about one step away from the Cartoon Network.
I had these "views" long before Fox News (or any cable news for that matter) ever existed. I read USA today regularly and New York Times when I'm in the area (about 12 weeks out of the year). I'm not some dumb cajun drinking coffee to Passe Partout every morning.
contained chaos, if you actually want some information, you are going to hav to give up on televised news for anything that isnt happening live. one of the things that annoys me about jon stewart is that he is so smug with criticisms of fox et al. to me that is like throwing sand in the face of a retard and thinking you kick ass. cable news is not to be taken seriously. cale news isnt doing a bad job for america, americans are doing a bad job if they depend on cable news. let's not shift responsibility. martin's formula for balanced news: 1. read the wikipedia article about the thing or event. 2. read a new york times column about it. 3. read a wall st journal artcle about it. 4 read a foreign source, the bbc is terrific. thats alot of work, but then again, how often is there a news event worth caring about? i like the comical take on things i get from the new york post, which is basically a comic book.
you should regognize that your little youtube clip there is far worse than fox news. i have see that guy before and he out of control with his edititing and dishonesty.
