Yes, she would get into serious trouble for divulging medical records. It has to be something fairly serious, though, for intensive care, one would think. I certainly hope that he's okay.
I just read about Demetrius on my Auburn board and then saw this thread here. I sure hope he is Ok and isn't hurt seriously enough to affect his pro possibilities. Down in the ESPN article linked below, his mother implies he will be OK with just bumps and bruises. I certainly hope that is the case.
She won't work there for long if you do. Not only could she get fired, but could also lose her license if she's a doc or nurse or other licensed professional. That's a huge no no. My wife doesn't even tell me about her patients and I'm a single person, not a discussion board.
Hope he is OK. Heard about it at my son's basketball practice. Had to jump on as soon as I got home to find out what happened.
It will be interesting to find out the facts here. He would not be intensive care for "scratches", but the reports have been mixed thusfar. My guess is that there may be some concern about a head injury and he is in ICU for close observation, or perhaps, the ear issue was fairly serious and he is recovering from corrective repair. Certainly, thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.
