I just want to point out that if we would have won the bowl game we were guaranteed a spot in the Sugar Bowl, so there would be no reason to petition them to invite us. I don't agree with Miles for jockeying to get into any bowl when he could be preparing for a game, but let's not say he was expecting to lose the game. If there would have been question what bowl we could have gone to if we would have won, he probably would have erred on the side of winning. I think it's more accurate to say that Miles was jockeying for a bowl when he could have been preparing for the championship game, and leave it at that.
