    the intent is completely irrelevant. if someone gives a million dollars to a bum as a p.r. move, the bum still gets a million.

    LOL, was just watching the news here and now because Sanders took Devine to Texas without officially having guardianship of him they're saying that he legally kidnapped him. But now I guess Devine's grandmother will have to go to Texas to give guardianship to Sanders.

    Time out. I read somewhere that the adoption is off. Something about the grandmother being the legal guardian at the moment and her not liking the deal. I'll try to find the article and post a link. I just read this a couple of days ago.

    WHOA!!!!!! Big difference between adoption and guardianship......You adopt.....He is yours for life with the same privileges for inheritence as any of you own. Matter of fact, it would be easier to disinherit one of your own than one you adopted. I adopted two and would not change it thirty-five years later.

    Has the adoption been completed? Is he really adopting or just taking over as the legal guardian?

    From what little I have read, he is trying to be the guardian not adopt.
