The Big Bang created the universe. The Milky Way is only one of hundreds of billions of galaxies in the universe.

yes i know that, you asked what does the milky way have to do with the big bang. the questions i asked were separate. What happened before the big bang? and actually the 2nd part was a statement, and what i was trying to convey was how through time religious folk have tried to say the earth was the center of universe, and how alot think that this galaxy and earth for that matter is the only place with intelligent life, and sure, as far as we know it is, but the universe is infinite and there is no way of telling that. which brings me back to a question i had a few days ago, would religious folk change their minds, or how would they explain it if intelligent life was found somewhere other than earth.

i know the big bang theory was basically that the expansion of matter caused the big bang which created space, time, and the elements essential to build planets. Elements like helium, and hydrogen which under intense heat and pressure, motion and time created stars, planets, etc etc.

study your ayn rand, folks. Existence exists because one possesses consciousness and allegedly the two are never mutually exclusive.

i have studied ayn rand more than i should have. i dont think you are addressing the same question i am.

apparently you fellas have determined that a universe requires a creator. i am curious as to how we know this.

creation does require a creator, but that creator could be the action of creating, and not a physical creator.

insert a tirk pot joke here.
