exactly. religious people should be ashamed. this is what i have been getting at all along. we should stop with the pretense that all views are wonderful and equal. it isnt true. some are stupid lies, told to, and believed by morons. this is why i keep equating the modern religions with the ancient myths. and you fellas claim "well if i knew a fella that believed in thor, i would not mock him or think less of him". not true. we would all say what an idiot he was and laugh at him. thats what i want. i want us to laugh and mock nonsense until we all realize we should hold ourselves to a higher standard about what we think is real.

Your dilemma is that you're not sure what is stupid and you secretly wish you were a moron. Just accept the fact that any attempt by you to ponder universal origins, creation, deities is profoundly laughable. As it is with 99.999999% of humans. But if it makes you happy.... those mock religion do so out of the fear of the unknown. We aren't mocking your beliefs because we do not fear your desire to not believe in God. We understand your fear and pray for your salvation. That is the difference with those that have God in their lives.
no, i can actually tell what is stupid and what isnt. examples: red's belief that a creator might exist because he thinks things that exist have creators. verdict: not that stupid. kinda stupid, because it is unsupported by any actual evidence, but overall not all that stupid. it isnt particulalry outlandish, this idea that things have creators. but that leads to a dilemma about who created the creator. the christian's belief that jesus died for his sins. verdict : monumentally, biblicallly stupid. is that why i mock radical islam? is that why i mock jim jones and his kool aid drinking followers?
I didn't say that to mock something means you fear it, I made the assertion to that of religion. At this point I have come to the conclusion that you aren't worth debating any longer. You have now proven to me that you are without a doubt the most insignificant poster on the board. Question, disagree, debate all you want the beliefs of God.
