I took peyote in 1973. It's like mild acid but more disorienting. It gives you insominia and worse . . . it makes you feel agnostic and dyslexic. I stayed up all night wondering if there really was a Dog.
yeah i was thinking its an excuse to trip for a couple days. ants no ants. never wanted someone to answer it for me. you or a priest. i like to come to that conclusion on my own.
i had a similar experience on peyote, i saw the word dionysus on a piece of paper and i sat there for 5 hours trying to pronounce it. finally just gave up. the visuals were better than acid, but not as much as psilocybin.
oh dont worry, i have no answers for anyone. all i do is call out other people for pretending to have answers. what conclusions have you come up with? anything?
dont be so defensive. i was the one with the question. i should know better, answering isnt your thing, but i will try again: yes or no: the existence of the universe means that a creator of some sort existed at some point?
yeah i know all the mocking stuff really tears :bncry: me up. nothing definitive. that would seem most logical.
You ask the same thing over and over and are satisfied with no responses. Stick it in your ear. You bore me.
i dunno, maybe it does seem logical. most things have a creator. but then again, most things are not the universe. to create the universe you would have to be something really unprecedented. i dont see how we can draw any sort of conclusion. but thats just me i am arrogant and think i know everything. i have the audacity to be inconclusive. my bad, i genuinely dont understand what you say as your answers. somehting about metaphysics. i dunno what that is, seriously. you say there are two answers based on whether we mean cosmology or metaphysics. that simply confuses me because i dont know what it means. i only understand that there is one question with one answer. "If we take in our hand any volume; of divinity or school metaphysics, for instance; let us ask, Does it contain any abstract reasoning concerning quantity or number? No. Does it contain any experimental reasoning concerning matter of fact and existence? No. Commit it then to the flames: for it can contain nothing but sophistry and illusion." - hume, from the wikipedia article on metaphysics. as far as i can tell, "metaphysics" is a pointless thing. but like i said, i dont understand it. i cant imagine a scenario where i could use the word "metaphysical" and know what it means.
