Now you can see why the two alternatives to Colonel Rebel were so soundly rejected by Ole Miss fans. The administration has decreed that Col. Rebel is no more--- I guess its back to the drawing board. I was just wondering what did we do before we got Col. Rebel in the late 70s

"Rebel Bruiser" is flaming. Looks like he hangs outside of Oz on Bourbon Street. The other one, "Rowdy Rebel," looks like Mr. Clean getting kicked in the ass.

    Come on Tiger fans

You have a guy coming in here giving insight, but you're dogging Eli and his ability.

Look at it this way, if Mauck went down, our team and back-up qb, would and should still beat Ole Miss. Without Eli, Ole Miss would have a tough time beating Vandy, Kentucky and Miss. St.

Therefore, Eli, means more to any team in Div. 1, and has an 8-2 record with 0 losses in the SEC. I am by no means a Manning homer, I believe he is more important to Ole Miss, then White is to Oklahoma and Fitzgerald is to Pitt.

My opinion is, we put him on his back a lot this weekend and hurt his Heisman chances, but in the whole scheme of things, he's the most important player in the country to his team.

Hey moron, you posed the question as to him being considered for the Heisman. I gave my opinion. I never said Eli wasn't deserving, but I just don't think he's a shoo-in.
