Hey, Homa ... if you wanna come on our forum and proclaim OK the #1 Defense ... with LSU as#2 ...

YOU HAVE NO CREDIBILITY HERE ...

LSU is far and away the BEST in America ... and OK is NOT #2

The OK defense is ranked #10 in America ... THE KSU Dee is #7

We saw them kick OU so hard they wore their arses for a hat

YOU HAVE A SERIOUS WAKE UP CALL COMING ON JAN 4th

Not being responsible for your FB education ... and promising the moderators in this forum that I would cease "attacking" visitor guests ... i will kindly inform you that you are full of crap and there are ...

37 categories statistics are kept in Defense ... the most important of which is Scoring Defense, as every head coach in AMERICA will agree ... down to a single man.

Next, your passing defense is not better than LSU's ... either

Yardage allowed means very little in this category ...

YOU WANNA POST RUBBISH HERE ... YOU ARE CALLED OUT!

WE AT LSU TAKE OUR DEFENSE SERIOUSLY ...

mess with the best ... die like the rest

ramah: do you have a link to these defensive stats, ie OU being #10 in total defense? Would love to see it. I will agree with you on one thing, scoring defense is very important, LSU is #1, while OU is a meager #3. As far as the wake up call, only time will tell, I will say this much, we got a pretty damn good wake up call last weekend and should have our eyes wide open come sugar bowl time. Posting rubbish?? I think not.

Several ... keeping the Killer Link "ON ICE".

The killer link ... lists LSU #1, KSU #7, OU #10 & UM #11 with USC right behind them

Of the 33 categories regarding NCAA FB DEFENSE ... several shown below have LSU #1

    TOTAL DEFENSE
    http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/stats/byteam?cat1=defense&cat2=Total&conference=I-A_all
LSU #1 in Scoring Defense … THE MOST IMPORTANT … OU is ranked #3

    http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/stats...ushing&conference=I-A_all&year=2003&sort=1109
LSU #1 in Rushing TDs allowed … LSU allowed 3 … OU is ranked #15 and allowed 9

    http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/stats...2=Total&conference=I-A_all&year=2003&sort=111
LSU #1 in Blocks … LSU has 69 and far ahead of OU at 53 … OU is ranked #6

    http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/stats...assing&conference=I-A_all&year=2003&sort=1133
LSU #2 in Passing % Dee, allowing 45% of passes to be completed, OU is ranked #20

    http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/stats...Passing&conference=I-A_all&year=2003&sort=112
LSU #3 in Sacks … LSU has 43 and far ahead of OU at 34 … OU is ranked #6

    http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/stats...=Total&conference=I-A_all&year=2003&sort=1124
Congrats #10 ranked OU Defense … you are actually ahead of LSU in a few of 33 Defensive categories … allowing 12 inches PER GAME less than LSU in Total Yardage … this within margin of error for stats

    PASSING DEFENSE
    http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/stats...eiving&conference=I-A_all&year=2003&sort=1120
LSU pass defense allows fewer first downs than OU
LSU pass defense allows fewer receptions than OU
LSU pass defense allowed 12 TDs, OK allowed 11
LSU pass defense allows 191 yards per game, OU 146
LSU pass efficiency defense is RANKED ABOVE OU

Yeah Baby … this is what I’m talking about.

Keep on crowing that OU is #1

Are you for real? I'm in here complementing both of our D's, have you actually read this entire thread? The link listed above in your quote has us #1, not #10, plain and simple (TOTAL DEFENSE). Secondly, you say that OU is allowing 12 inches per game less than LSU. OU is allowing 255.6 yds/game. LSU is allowing 259.5 yds/game, since when does 3.9 yds=12 inches? I am simply making this point to prove you wrong, not to crow.
For the record, I think that both of our schools have tremendous defenses which are the top 2 in the nation.

Oh yeah, if YOU want to have any crediblity...Why not link some stats from the www.ncaa.org/stats page...They're the OFFICIAL ones...

Better yet, nevermind...Just keep linking Yahoo sports stats...They fit you...
