Doesn't matter to me. The "Deep State" or the "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" are two sides to the same coin: a scapegoat for politicians who are under strong legal and/or politically jeopardy.
The Brits do all sorts of stupid things and I agree with you that allowing ANY religion access to our justice system is ridiculous. That said, we Americans think differently about a lot of things than the Brits. They still have a Queen for Christ's sake. I think it is very easy to point to them and say, "see, look what could happen...." but in reality I just don't see this every happening here. In order for that to happen it would require enough votes to change existing laws. Where are those votes going to come from? But at what point do we draw the line for what a private citizen is allowed to own with regards to firepower? Should a private citizen be able to own a fighter jet or to possess cruise missiles for that jet? Should a private citizen be allowed to own an RPG? What about a hand grenade? You are looking at it as though the government wants to take away our existing weapons. I look at it as what limitations should a private citizen have with regards to what they can legally possess. Big difference.... I'm glad you posted this because it illustrates what I have been talking about perfectly. You don't care at all that there were numerous investigations conducted by your own party that found absolutely no wrong doing. The facts don't matter to you. You want to believe that Obama was a Muslim Manchurian candidate who was somehow party to the attacks or at least complicit in them. The fact that you choose to believe something that even your own party has investigated and found to be innocuous is very telling. What do you mean? Our schools are not headed in a bad direction. You may not like the direction they are heading because it doesn't fit with your narrative and ideology but that doesn't mean they are headed in a bad direction. It's funny you should mention the Golden Rule because on Orientation night at my kids school it was written on a huge banner behind the stage. Public school. Trump says something outlandish, the media covers it and guys like you blame the media for reporting it but never hold Trump responsible for saying it. You've surmised this without seeing all the evidence in the case yet. If Trump is found to be guilty of colluding with the Russians to sway the election is it still a Deep State theory? Again, you are essentially saying that even if Trump is guilty it is the fault of the people who investigated him and not his own. How's that for personal responsibility? By the way, Manafort flipped on Trump this morning.
Do you not see how far left the Dems are going? Legit socialist are winning primaries. Are you intentionally being obtuse? Why do you move to the extreme? No one in the gun community is even remotely asking for that. However, the left is actually trying to restrict what we DO HAVE. Its undeniable. We aren't asking for MORE. We are fighting to keep what we have. The last investigation, HRC, did find wrong doing. They decided not to prosecute her. What are you talking about?
