This has been an interesting and needed discussion. Frankly I don’t think that there’s anything wrong with sharp language as long as it doesn’t devolve into personal attacks or threats. There’s a fine line between inventive insults and crudity or threat. I’ve probably crossed the line on occasion. There’s also no place for lies about the object of your scorn. Frankly that bothers me more than anything. In the long run if you’re not passionate about your beliefs you need to examine them. If you can’t argue without getting personal or nasty you don’t have much of an argument behind you.
I think some are getting off track here. Back to KyleK original post/request. I believe we can all be civil/passionate about LSU and/or other team sports without bullying or personal attacks. There should be a way to report an infraction and a penalty "time out or ban" should be applied to the offender. Really the only way to keep things under control. Like a great bartender once said, "If you boys/girls have a problem, take it outside. This is not that kind of establishment."
And that certain offending mod hasn't even deleted 6,000 of your posts..yet. Found it highly ironic in a thread about bullying, he decicided delete one of your posts.
If you were paying attention it was because it took all of 3 post to begin to get off track. I deleted it because this thread is not the place to discuss politics. It got the discussion back on topic which is what I'm supposed to do. As for you and your 6k post, go cry to someone else, you're lucky to be here at all.
